FLUTE FRENZY is proud to have been selected to perform during this year's National Flute Association convention held in Charlotte, NC, on August 11-14. One of only 14 flute choirs invited from worldwide applicants, FLUTE FRENZY was the only youth flute choir to perform.

Have you played flute for one year and want to be part of a small ensemble? Flute Frenzy has an invitation for you!
We are starting a Prelude Ensemble on October 6 specifically designed for youths with only one year experience. The group will be limited in size guarantying plenty of personal instruction.
Students will be gently introduced to the idea of independent parts which coordinate with each other, and will be given the opportunity to play alto and bass flute.
Rehearsals will take place on Thursday evenings, 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church. The cost is $20 for a 4-week session.
There is no audition required and there are several sessions planned throughout the year as listed on the Flute Frenzy schedule.

Audition requirements: a 2-minute solo, etude, or excerpt of choice, major and chromatic scales.
Rehearsals: Weekly, Thursday evenings, Williamsburg United Methodist Church
Tuition: $350 yearly. Need-based tuition assistance available.

Eligibility: Students in grades 5-12, who have played flute at least one year.
