Those Flutes: How a Flute Choir can Enhance
Your School Band Program
Flute Frenzy was invited
to present at the Virginia Music Educators Association
Conference in Norfolk, Virginia on Saturday
20th November, 2004. The group presented works
appropriate for middle and high schools in ensembles
ranging from 3-20 members. They demonstrated
the various skills learned through a flute choir
experience. Piccolo, C Flutes, Alto Flutes and
Bass Flutes were demonstrated and showcased.
The group was presented
with a plaque for their outstanding performance.
