Capriccio Flutes, the high school flute ensemble, are directed by Katherine Draney. This choir builds on the individual and ensemble skills presented in the Prelude Classes, with the goal to take small ensemble music into the community. Students earn community service points doing something they really enjoy!

 

The 2021 - 2022 season will begin LIVE Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, 5.15- 6.45 pm. Students must bring their own C flute and a win-d-fender.  Students will be given the opportunity to play the Flute Frenzy piccolos, alto flute and bass flute. There will be occasional activities planned with the other youth groups, and capriccio members will participate in the two annual Flute Frenzy concerts.

 All students must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, any adults entering the building must be vaccinated also. 

 

Tuition for the academic year is $350, payable by the year, or by semester: $150 Fall/ Winter; $200 Spring. Tuition includes professional instruction, sheet music, one 20-minute private lesson, and use of Flute Frenzy owned instruments during in-person rehearsals. Please communicate directly with the treasurer if you need specific payment arrangements or wish to apply for need-based tuition assistance.
