Overture Flute Class

-- Wednesday 5:45 pm - 6:45 pm -- This class prepares students to enter the regular Prelude choir. No audition required.

Overture is our tuition-free class for beginning flutists in 5th or 6th grade in their first year playing flute.

Taught by Flute Frenzy's Artistic Director, Sean Arawjo, the class instruction will focus on the basics of tone production and flute technique, such as tonguing and hand position, with the goal of preparing students to enter the Prelude Flute Choir.

 

Students are eligible for this class once they are able to read and play at least *five* notes. Students must supply their own C flutes.

The 2024 season will begin Wednesday, January 3, 2024, 5:45 - 6:45 p.m.


Sign up as soon as you can read and play five notes!

Parents are invited to a Meet-and-Greet with the Directors during the first rehearsal of the season (Jan. 3rd), from 5:15 - 5:45 pm.
